Pinyin �Changzhi�, formerly (until 1912) �Lu-an� city in southeast Shansi Province (sheng), China. It is situated in the Lu-an plain - a basin surrounded by the western highlands of the T'ai-hang Shan (mountains), watered by the Cho-chang-pei Y�an (stream), a tributary of the Wei Ho.
